Assembly / monthly
Assembly is the Alliance's monthly centerpiece — one evening a month at Station Austin, given over to craft and conversation.
A workshop opens the night. Then the room turns to track feedback: work in progress on the big speakers, played out loud and talked through together. No clock, no showdown — just the work, taken seriously.

Presented by
Rae Delgado
Mix engineer · Eastside Sound Annex
Rae has spent a decade mixing club records out of an East Austin control room and teaches low end the way she learned it — by breaking a good mix in front of you and putting it back together.
Sub that swallows the kick. Basslines that vanish on a phone speaker. Mixes that fall apart the moment a real system turns on. This session takes the bottom octaves apart and puts them back in order.
Rae works through a live session from the roster — carving the kick-and-bass pocket, choosing what carries the weight, and checking the result on the worst speaker in the building. Bring headphones to follow along in your own project.
Session files
Every chart from the session, annotated after the fact.
The bus chain Rae builds live, saved out for six DAWs.
The session bounced at the start and the end of the night.
Track feedback / Every assembly
Every Assembly holds space for work in progress. Put a track on the list and it gets played out loud at the next one, then talked through in the room while it is still ringing.
A streaming or download link works, and so does a bounce straight out of your session. Unfinished is fine — rough mixes get the most useful conversation.
Bring the same link or bounce with you on the night.
AIF, AIFF, FLAC, MP3, WAV. Up to 50 MB each; the list holds 5 tracks, links included.

And after that
Archive / 7 on file
Session 07 /
A guest-led session on reworking someone else's material, followed by the usual round of listening and feedback.
Session 06 /
An evening on arrangement and finishing, with the back half given over to playback and open discussion.
Session 05 /
A working session on sound design, then time for anyone with a track to put it on the speakers.
Session 04 /
A guest walked the room through their workflow end to end, then stayed for feedback on everyone else's.
Session 03 /
Mixing and reference tracks, taken apart in front of the room, with playback and notes to close.
Session 02 /
A session on starting points — how a track gets moving, and what to do when it stalls. Playback and notes to close.
Session 01 /
An evening in the library room. Tracks went up on the speakers one at a time, and the questions after each one ran longer than the playback.
